Deanna Klein came to MSU in 1992. She is a native of Devils Lake, ND and has resided in Minot for 13 years with her husband and three children. Deanna continues her education by attending a variety of workshops and conferences and is currently working on her doctoral degree.

In addition to teaching in the classroom, Deanna teaches online classes and instructs continuing Education workshops. Deanna is a professional member of the National Business Education Association (NBEA), International Association for Computer Information Systems (IACIS), Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter and a member and past President of the Minot High Marketing Advisory Board. Deanna has recently presented a paper on Distance Education at the IACIA conference in San Antonio.

Deanna is active at MSU by advising students in the Management Information Systems Program, and the campus coordinator for the Souris Valley United Way and a member of the faculty senate.
