Joan Houston is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). She came to Minot State University after working in public accounting as an auditor and teaching at Moorhead State University. Her business and professional affiliations include the North Dakota Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, Delta Kappa Gamma, Minot Certified Public Accountants, and Association of North Dakota Teachers of College Accounting.
