Mrs. Cabarle joined the MSU faculty in 2004. She has come from Virginia where she served for seven years as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Timber Truss Housing Systems, a mid-sized manufacturing corporation in Virginia that specializes in construction components and materials. She has worked as a Tax Specialist for KPMG Peat Marwick and was a Financial Analyst for Macmillan Publishing Company and Simon & Schuster in New York City. She has held adjunct teaching positions with Mary Baldwin College, Kaplan College and several Virginia community colleges.
Currently, Mrs Cabarle operates her own CPA firm, is a member of the AICPA and is the Director for the VITA program at MSU. Her research interests include employee benefit plans, organizational behavior, women in management, controllership, current taxation issues, and experiential & service learning.
