Assessment of Student Learning

The College of Business takes student learning very seriously and measures students’ learning in annual assessment activities. Based upon findings from those measures, academic curriculum and instructional methods are adjusted.

In accordance with its business program accreditation by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), the College of Business maintains a list of direct and indirect measures of students’ learning in our Outcomes Assessment Plan [pdf].

Aligned with MSU’s strategic planning document, Vision 2013, the College of Business’s mission and vision statements, and IACBE guidelines, the College of Business maintains records of students’ learning in our programs, updated each year in October for the previous academic year. Our learning goals, learning assessment measures, performance targets, and summaries of program results may be found in our annual report [pdf].
