Broadcasting Program

Katie TylerJenny Castro '07 - Account Executive at KMOT-TV
"The broadcasting program at Minot State is a diverse curriculum that keeps you on your toes and prepares you for a variety of jobs right out of college. Compared to larger departments, the small scale allows for much more hands on experience and opportunities for leadership. I would have shied away from these things in a larger environment. During college, I was able to concentrate on my more specific interests in the field while at the same time becoming versed in a range of skills in the communication field - skills that I now apply to my current job in broadcasting sales."
