Coach Weppler will begin his first season as Head Coach at Minot State. Weppler spent the 2006 and 2007 seasons as an assistant, working as the hitting coach, the infield coach and also working with the catchers.

Coach Weppler is a native of Burlington, North Dakota. Weppler received his BS in Physical Education from the University of Mary. Weppler played two seasons at Mary after transferring from MSU-Bottineau. At MSU-Bottineau Coach Weppler was named to the Mon-Dak all conference team, the Region XIII All Region team, and Region XIII Defensive Player of the year.

Coach Weppler just recently finished his seventh summer as head coach of the Burlington Bulldogs legion team. The team finished with a record of 43 wins and 13 losses. The team placed second at the state tournament. It was Burlington's first legion state tournament appearance since the 1995 team. Weppler's career record as coach of the Burlington Legion team is 278 wins and 103 losses.

Kal Triplett
Assistant Coach

Triplett, originally from Rugby, ND will begin his first year as an assistant coach.

Coach Triplett is finishing up his degree in physical education and corporate fitness.

Coach Triplett finished up his playing career with the beavers at first base. Kall will be spending his summer with the Burlington Bulldog Babe Ruth baseball team.
