General Education Requirements

Students are required to complete 38 credits of General Education coursework, as one of the requirements to graduate from the University. More information, along with a listing of General Education courses, can be found on the General Education website.

Students are required to complete six credits of diversity courses. Three of these credits fulfill the General Education requirement, while three of the credits fulfill the graduation requirement. A complete list of diversity courses can be found here.

A General Education Worksheet is available for students who choose to keep track of the General Education courses they have completed. This worksheet also allows students to see which courses fall within each category, serving as a great resource for students to review prior to visiting with their academic advisor.

Students, faculty, or staff who would like to have the Registrarís Office evaluate transcripts to view progress or completion of General Education courses, can submit the General Education Evaluation Request Form.
