Vision 2013 Merit Award Recipients for 2010
Minot State University announced Vision 2013 Merit Award recipients. Faculty and staff eligible to receive a Vision 2013 Merit Award demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing the university toward its Vision 2013 goals and specific objectives. These individuals earned this year’s Vision 2013 Merit Awards: Erik Anderson, music; Johnny Coomansingh, social science; Deb DeWitz, social work; Laurie Geller, mathematics and computer science; Shan Haarsager, College of Arts and Sciences; Paul Lepp, biology; Gary Ross, College of Business, Terry Wald, plant services; Joe Alme, music; Merri Jo Connole, financial aid; Bob Feller, Information Technology Central; Sheila Gerding, athletics; Rick Hedberg, athletics; Teresa Loftesnes, marketing; Cheryl Nilsen, mathematics and computer science; Eileen Solberg, College of Business, Doug Pfliger, humanities; Mark Timbrook, Center for Extended Learning; Laurie Weber, financial aid; and Kevin Neuharth, humanities.
The selection committee, made up of four vice presidents and the Faculty Senate and Staff Senate presidents, reviewed more than 50 nominees. The basis for the award came from criteria sent out to supervisors, directly related to Minot State University’s Vision 2013.
